We are pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. Neil Finnen to Midwest Eye Institute.  Dr. Finnen is an experienced, well-trained medical and surgical retina specialist.  He completed his Ophthalmology Residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center at Columbia University.  He completed his two year Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and practiced in Fort Wayne for 8 years prior to relocating to Midwest Eye Institute.  He also performs clinical research involving new therapies for macular degeneration and macular edema.  The medical professionals at Midwest Eye Institute are dedicated to providing the highest quality healthcare for patients and are pleased to have Dr. Finnen on staff.

The Retinal Service at Midwest Eye Institute includes advanced state-of-the-art diagnostic testing facilities, including digital imaging, OCT, ERG, MERG, and ultrasonography. A busy Ambulatory Surgery Center is housed in the same building, and facilitates  the efficient  and convenient access for complex vitreoretinal surgery throughout the day and evening.  We also participate in many national clinical trials to afford the most cutting edge diagnostic and treatment opportunities for our patients.
